9th Circuit Court Rules to Protect Sacred Peaks
Save the Peaks Coalition to Hold Press Conference

Flagstaff, AZ -- On Monday March, 12th 2007 the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals issued it's decision on the Navajo Nation et al v. Forest Service et al case to protect the sacred San Francisco Peaks.
The 64 page ruling has been issued in favor of the tribes and environmental groups.

A press conference with Howard Shanker of the Shanker Law Firm, litigants in the case including Sierra Club and the Flagstaff Activist Network, Tribal representatives and members of the Save the Peaks Coalition will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 12th at Buffalo Park in Flagstaff, AZ.
